The location of an extinguishing agent must be marked in accordance with NEN 4001-3011. If necessary, the location of the extinguishing agent should be indicated with additional signs. In general, we recommend foam extinguishers, because they cause the least collateral damage. Our foam extinguishers can extinguish up to 1,000 V and can also be used on, for example, normal-sized meter boxes.
In addition, powder extinguishers are mainly recommended for hazardous substances. Carbon dioxide snow extinguishers no longer fall under the basic extinguishing agents and can be used extra for, for example, a server room.

Insurance companies sometimes want to deviate from this, but this depends on the relevant risk. If you also want to have the maintenance carried out once every two years, make sure that you receive this ‘in black and white’ from the insurance company, so that you will be paid by them in the event of an incident.
